I am trying to install a sybase 12.5.4 in raw devices.
the raw partitions are ready.
during the installation I got attached problems while creating the database.
/dev/raw/raw1: bound to major 8, minor 9
/dev/raw/raw2: bound to major 8, minor 10
/dev/raw/raw3: bound to major 8, minor 11
/dev/raw/raw4: bound to major 8, minor 7
/dev/raw/raw5: bound to major 8, minor 8
inst files are the installtion print screens with the db options
err files the error print screens
any idea?
thanks

Are you able to read these screenshots?
Mm, I can't read them either, when I zoom in they're too jagged.
Rather than giving us screenshots, can you give us error messages and install logs?

Sorry, when I saved them in small sizes I did not check again.
I am out of the office for the weekend, but I will attach the log files on monday with the error message description.
anyway, I did finish the installation by "hand" using the scripts installmaster, installcommit, etc... but I have the logs and I would like very much to find out what is the problem.
get back monday with the log files.
thanks guys!

Sorry for the delay:
the options used were:
master device = /dev/raw/raw1
procedure device /dev/raw/raw2
system device /dev/raw/raw3
the message is:

Server 'sybase' was not created.
while it does not run in graphic mode, I was able to create by shell without any problem.
Just would like to know why I cannot do it in graphic installation mode, but I was able to do it by "hand"
