I am developing a toolbar where I need to sync my toolbar with the website. So i need to add an event listener to cookie from toolbar javascript so that if the cookie is deleted I can signout the toolbar.

Thanks in advance.

I need an eventlistener like for eg: addEventListener("click", my_function, false);
similar to this is there any way to listen the cookie like addEventListener("on_my_cookie_delete", my_func, false);
If not suggest me a way to handle similar event.

Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion,
I have similar function like MonitorCookie but the problem is with performance as the browser load will increase since every second it is fetching the cookie and iterating it. So if we have some kind of method to trigger the function only when the cookie is modified or deleted it would be of great help.

Thanks

Couldn't an example for event-handler on cookie deletion as you have asked, but is it feasible for you do such an operation (checking cookie status) on some other event (like form load, button click, getting focus etc)?

It is a pure javascript for handling firefox. I am not sure it will work in IE since i am developing only for firefox addon.
