My Windows 7 64-bit install has been running fine for the last couple of weeks.  All of the sudden it locked up, then after power cycling I get a black screen with the following info:

"The file is possibly corrupt"
"The file header checksum does not match"

Anyone seen this before or know how to resolve?

Have you tried booting from the Windows 7 DVD, going into the Recovery Environment (the Vista/Win7 substitute for XP's old "recovery console") by choosing repair your computer, and then running CHKDSK at the Command Prompt?

After choosing the "Startup Repair" option from the recovery environment, it now says "BOOTMGR Image is corrupt"

I ran another Startup Repair but it's still stuck there.

Do you still get that message if you choose Command Prompt rather than Startup Repair?
