I first had an issue with an Application that wouldnt work (gave me an error relating to fonts)

so i took a DIR of my old windows folder fonts and copy and pasted to my Current fonts Folder and now Browsing application the font embedded in these apps are TOO big thus not being able to see everything.

tried applying XP theme back Then back to classic.

tried searching via Regedit  but couldnt find where i can change my font.

i opened up WORD and compared it it LOOKS like the size of 30 with the font of arial but not sure on how to see or fix it

its not 1 application its like any application here and there jsut the luck of the irish i guess

But i have an image you can see below this is just 1 of the apps i see.

Thanks

Check this list http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/winxp.htm and make sure that you have all of those fonts installed. If you are missing any of them simply reinstall by:

1. Insert XP CD
2. Start a command prompt (start -> run -> type "cmd" and click enter)
3. Browse to the i386 directory of the cd (type <drive letter of CD>: hit enter and then cd i386)
4. Reinstall any missing fonts by typing "expand d:\i386\ariblk.tt_ c:\windows\fonts\ariblk.ttf" (example of arial black)

The file names on the cd differs as you can see but it's only the last letter like tt_ instead of ttf or fo_ instead of fon so it's still easy for you to make out.

I hope it helps, good luck!
