2008 Microsoft Server Roles

I currently have 6 servers.  One of them is a very old SBS 2003.  I would like to retire the SBS 2003.  All of my other servers are also MS Server 2003 except my newest server which is MS Server 2008.  I have moved MS Exchange to the Server 2008.  My next step is to move active directory, DC, DNS, DHCP.  I can move these services to a Server 2003, but I was considering moving them to Server 2008 with the Exchange services.  As I understand it the security on the server 2008 box is better, I already have licensing for the 2008 box and I will not have to move Active Directory or Domain Controller services for a long time.  A person I was talking with told me Microsoft does NOT recommend Active Directory be put on the same box with Exchange for security reasons.  Recommendations????

That is true you shouldn't have Exchange and AD services running on the same box this isn't a recommend solution.

If you don't have another Windows 2008 server then I would stick with the current Windows 2003 setup.

Yes,you should load the server with AD,Exchange apart from technical background there is so much load on exchange & even AD will find difficulty in serving users for authorization, authentication & many more.

Chris - more info on moving from SBS 2003 to server 2003 would be GREAT.
Awinish - not sure I understand your answer.  Are you saying you would recommend Active Directory, Domain Controller & Exchange all be placed on server 2008?
