Ran scandisk on the C: but OS reported it did not need to be defragmented. I defragged anyway and now my run box shows up right away and paint and calc pops up immediately.

I have Lenovo T61 laptop that runs pretty well but recently when I click on start and then run it takes 3 to 5 minutes for the run box to appear. <br />

Also when I type in a command in the run box such as mspaint it takes another 3 to 5 minutes to open paint.<br />
