How do I force a wallpaper to be shown to remote desktop users.
I want to set the wallpaper for all remote desktop users that connect thru the remote desktop services on Windows Server 2008 R2.
I have tried to find the correct settings in a GPO but without any luck.
The only setting I can find is: User Configuration\Policies\Adm inistrativ e Templates\Desktop\Desktop\ Desktop Wallpaper but the info tells me it doesn't apply to remote desktop users...
ps: I have set the option to show the wallpaper when using mstsc
TIA!!!

I tried this but it didn't help.
I wonder if its even possible because the info on the desktop wallpaper setting tells me it doesn't apply to remote users.

Create a New Profile and set it up as you like.
Then logout and login with another administrative account.
Overwrite the Default User profile with the what the New Profile contains.
This will force every new profile to use the specified settings :)
Your old profiles will have to be deleted and re-created though.

@XoRd:
I tried this method but unfortunately it didn't work.
However when I stop using the GPO the wallpaper will show.
So the problem must be found somewhere in the GPO.
I have deleted the GPO and created a new one but still without any luck. :-(

Are you sure that it isn't a setting on the client RDC program?
If you open RDC and click "options" and then the "experience" tab there is a checkbox to show the desktop background.
Good luck
