SBS 2008/ES 2007/Outlook 2007 Certificate Problem

The only thing this company uses the Exchange Server for is storage and folder sharing. When I open up Outlook 2007 on the workstations I get the annoying warning that there is a problem with the sites security certificate. I tried installing the certificate in hopes it would go away but it hasn't.

It says the certificate is from a trusted certifing authority and that the date is valid but that the name on the certificated is invalid or doesn't match the site. The name on the certificate is remote.domain.local

Is there a way to get rid of this warning since the Exchange Server is not opened to the internet?

See this article :

Set the internal URLs to
Set-ClientAccessServer -AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri https://remote.domain.local/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory -Identity "CAS_Server_Name\EWS (Default Web Site)" -InternalUrl https://remote.domain.local/ews/exchange.asmx

Set-OABVirtualDirectory -Identity "CAS_Server_name\oab (Default Web Site)" -InternalUrl https://remote.domain.local/oab

After this restart IIS and Outlook

On OL client machine run Test Email autocnfiguration.
Holdown cintroll key >right click on outlook icon in notification area >Test Email autocnfiguration just selct autodiscover and run the test and see if it gives you the valid urls.

check if you still have certificate warning

What kind of certificate you have Self SSL or Public ?

Thanks Narayan. I came across that article a couple hours ago and I am struggling with the CAS_Server_Name. The domain controller (and there is only one) is srtdc.srt.local So what is the name of the CAS Server? srtdc.srt.local?

I am struggling on the syntax. AM I supposed to replace (Default Web Site) with something else because it tells me it can find it. Default Web Site is the Default Web Site.

Thanks Narayn I can't type on a good day! It is a public certificate. The Sxchane Server is not on the web. I can not open the Outlook clients with no certificate errors and the sync errors with the OAB have disappeared.
