I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that to use F5 you have to hold down the FN key?<br />

On every machine I have ever owned, F5 is the primary function and a secondary function is assigned to the FN key.<br />

Your keyboard does have a numlock key, it is shared with the Scroll Lock (ScrLK) key.

I want to disable this Fn key, that forces me to hold it while using any function key. Even a normal refresh for browser F5, becomes difficult ,with the Fn key on my laptop. thanks.
