How do I get DHCP on Catalyst Express 500

I have a CE500 connected to a UC500. All the VOIP phones connected to the UC get a DHCP address but the ones connected to the CE do not. Is there a way to use the ip helper address with the CE? This is my first time working with a Catalyst Express 500 and from what I can tell its capabilities are limited. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

The IP helper address is working on L3 devices, it isn't working on CE 500!
Could you show me why you need the 'ip helper address' on network?

Hey thanks for the explanation, I'm a new to this stuff. Let me try and give you a better idea of what's going on.

Router connected to UC500
UC500 connected to VOIP phones and CE500
CE500 connected to VOIP phones.

The phones connected to the UC register with a DHCP address but the phones connected to the CE do not. How do I get the phones connected to the CE to register on the network? The CE only has GUI config and it's quite annoying.

Maybe you can see if there is anything wrong with my configs, They're in the attached doc. Do I have to change the native vlan on the CE?

ok, please show the running config of devise, if isn't working....

My native VLAN ID's were not matched up correctly. Also you do not have to create a "Cisco-Voice" Vlan for VOIP service even though the document for the switch says you do.
