The problem has more to do with Telstra (and other ISP's) blocking port 25 on outbound 3G connections. &nbsp;There are a lot of forums and users with this problem. &nbsp;Sorry...no fix though. &nbsp;Whirlpool has a few forum threads re iPhones that are related though.

I have an HTC Touch HD windows mobile 6.1 phone and I am tethering it to my Laptop for general internet connection. running vista and outlook 2007. The phone is on the Telstra 3G network and I when I try to send mail out it wont allow relaying with the SMTP server. I have tried the SMTP server of Telstra of mail.bigpong.com but I still get outgoing mail still will not go out and I get the relaying message. Does anyone know the right way to send mail out of outlook on the laptop over the Telstra 3G network?
