My personal opinion is to stay away from MS NFS because it is basically encapsulated in a NTFS partition and with VMs on top of the the two layers it becomes a I/O nightmare unless you're using it for lab only. &nbsp;For faster NFS try linux or openfiler or another product that does native NFS. &nbsp;The following links should help in setting up NFS on Windows and anonymous &nbsp;access to the NFS (no root squash)<br />

VMWare 4.0 and NFS on 2003 Server
