VMWare 4.0 and NFS on 2003 Server

I have share an NFS folder on a windows 2003 server that I want to expost to several VMWare 4.0 hosts.    I seem to be running into some credential issues. I have done this once before about a year and a half ago but I have slept since then.

My personal opinion is to stay away from MS NFS because it is basically encapsulated in a NTFS partition and with VMs on top of the the two layers it becomes a I/O nightmare unless you're using it for lab only.  For faster NFS try linux or openfiler or another product that does native NFS.  The following links should help in setting up NFS on Windows and anonymous  access to the NFS (no root squash)

I agree Completely!
