Blackberry BES Exchange - Can't send calendar invites to device

Having major issues here today.  Started sometime last week.  Our BES Server will no longer forward calendar requests to the device.  Works fine within Outlook though.  Seeing a lot of errors in the MAGT file, see below:

I've checked security settings, and everything looks fine.
CDO.DLL - 6.5.7638.2
MAPI32.DLL - 6.5.7638.1

I noticed that CDO.DLL and MAPI32.DLL were slightly different versions, didn't know if that would cause problems though.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are partly correct. I have seen calendar sync issues occur when BES and Exchange servers have different versions of the CDO.

OK, just went through your suggestions.  I'm certain that security is correct as defined by the document you linked me to.  The BES account isn't a member of the Domain/Enterprise Admins group either.  It is, however, a local admin for the server.  BTW, the server is Server 2003 (sp2), Exchange 2003 (sp2), and BES 4.0.7.8. (Exchange and BES share the system)

I copied over a different cdo.dll (and registered it) file from a working BES server with similar configuration.  This cdo.dll file was version 6.5.7651.61.  I'm not sure why they're different, since both are very similarly configured with same service packs and such.  Either way though, it didn't help.

On top of this problem we seem to have developed another over the weekend.  We suddenly can no longer receive e-mails on devices if the messages were sent from within the company.  I can't tell if it's part of the same issue, or if this is something new to fix.

OK, so here's a summary of what does and doesn't work

Originates From                          User Receives On
Outlook                                           Outlook
BB Device                                       Both
Internet                                            Both

Calendar entries from BB don't sync or send.
Calendar entries from Outlook deliver to Outlook, but not to BB

I'm tempted to reinstall Exchange Service Pack 2 at this point, any other suggestions?
I wouldn't mess with your Exchange install if email works out side of BES correctly.  Does your company have a TSupport contract?  I am sure it is frowned on, but I have found RIM's tech support to be very helpful.
OK, resolved the message delivery issues....it was completely unrelated.  Still have the Calendar issues though.  Oh, and we have no t-support contract.

Anyway, I've tripple checked the security settings, can't find a problem there.  How do I troubleshoot the cdo.dll issues?

Thanks
Everything I've read on this issue points to a permissions problem.  So, here's what I did:

I added an audit for the Blackberry user account to the Information Store.  I'm not seeing any failures from the blackberry account in the audit log.

Anything else that can cause these problems?
If you manipulate a calendar event on your hand-held, does the event update on the Exchange server?  In other words, is it a one way directional problem or a two way directional problem?
OK, Calendar entries fail to sync in either direction.  E-Mail works fine.

Something I did just notice while creating a bb device to test with, is that it took quite a while for the bb service to pickup the initialization message out of the mailbox in order to begin activating the device.  Typically, that message is never noticed by the end user, but this time, it was there for at least a couple minutes.

Maybe that sheds some light on the problem.
I take part of that back.  Looks like an entry created in Outlook does sync to the device, but with a considerable delay.  Still have the other issues.  Is the delay we're seeing likely to be related to the cdo.dll/permission issues, or would this be a different issue?
