Where can I get the file flashutil9b.exe?

My registry scanner shows the error:  "Missing or Invalid Key ... refers to a missing file, "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\Flash\\FlashUtil9b.exe"

I've searched for this file online and cannot find it anywhere, not even on Adobe's website.  I am now using Flash 10, so I don't really understand what the reference to Flash 9 is, but it is definitely hanging up my registry scan.  Attempts to change registry references to FlashUtil10c.exe are unsuccessful - I am not given access to the pertinent registry items.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried re-installing Adobe Flash Player?

Hello RobWill and madunix -
I have upgraded to Flash 10, but that apparently does not remove references to Flash9 from the registry.
Flash 9 does NOT appear on my "Add or Remove Programs List".  Does Flash 9 "hide"?  If I can find it, I will uninstall it and THEN install Flash 10.   Thank you both!
Mark
Does the regitry scanner show you where in the registry the entry is?
If you can locate (or F3 search) you could delete taht registry key.
NOTE: Before doing so back up the registry!!

Hi, and thank you again -

I tried to delete the two Registry entries (below) and received an "Unable to delete all specified values." error message.

CLSID   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D4304BCF-B8E9-4B35-BEA0-DC5B522670C2}
Localized String   REG_SZ  @C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9b.exe,-101

CLSID   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D4304BCF-B8E9-4B35-BEA0-DC5B522670C2}
LocalServer32    (default)    REG_SZ   C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9b.exe
Can you right click on the entry and change the permissions to allow you full control. You may then be able to delete.
With a right click, the only options I get are Modify, Modify Binary Data, and Delete.  I get the error message indicated if I attempt any of them.

Jeez, Still No Joy -
Checked "Permissions" in folder {D4304BCF-B8E9-4B35-BEA0-DC5B522670C2} and also CLSID folder giving myself Full Control of the both folders - but I get the same error msg when I try to delete either the {D4304BCF-B8E9-4B35-BEA0-DC5B522670C2} folder OR any of the three registry keys within that folder (Elevation, LocalServer32, and TypeLib) OR any of the key Data .
I've also logged in as the Administrator, also with "Full Control" permission ,but still cannot delete or modify the FlashUtil9b.exe entries.
Sorry to be a pain.
You are not a pain at all, but I am afraid I have run out of ideas. Hopefully someone else will have some suggestions. I will continue to monitor though.

Changing my permissions and administrator permissions did not work.  However, when I changed the permissions for "Everyone" I was able to delete the registry entries that were causing my problems.  Thank you very much for your persistence.
