Shared folder asks for logon credentals

Chiyo asked
Last Modified: 2012-05-08
I've got a shared folder that always asks the user to enter their user name and password. Problem is the folder isn't password protected and this user has rights to view the folder. The user enters their active directory password works and once entered the user can view the folder without problem.

This one share out of 5 or 6 is the only one that is asking for a password and and out of several users she is the only one who is prompted. We have a 90 password change coiuld there be a problem with the folder caching the password?

Thanks for any help.
