Need to configure hundreds of phone extensions

Before I begin, I'll let you know I don't know much about programming at all. I've done a little VB Scripting and made a few batch files, but otherwise I'm not a programmer, I'm a network engineer... so I don't even know what kind of language I would use to make (or attempt to make) a script do automate the following process.

We recently acquired a block of outside phone numbers to allow direct dial to 300 extensions on our office. I already configured the DID (Direct Inward Dial) for all these extensions, and now I need to configure the caller ID for each. As the first task was very tedious, I was curious if there was a simple way to do this? Even if the amount of work ends up being the same, I'd rather make an automated program (if it's easy) than type hundreds of numbers.

Here's how the configuration steps would be:
1. Login to phone system
2. Select extension 1101
3. In 'Transmitted CID (Caller ID)' field - enter 555-555-1101
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for extensions 1102-1399 with numbers 555-555-(1102-1399)

Would it be too complicated to do something like this?
