How do I query RDF Triples in a SQL database using SPARQL

I have an RDF XML document that is stored in a SQL table.  I also have tables of data relating to the RDF in this SQL database.  I need to query the tables using SPARQL.  How do I do this?  I see there is a SPARQL query tool called Jena for Java.  But there must be a better way to do this.  I wish I could just use TSQL, but i've been told it must be SPARQL.  Thanks in advance for any ideas!
