    Accepted Solution

Check for Event ID 1009, source:  TermService ( The terminal services licensing grace period is about to expire on <date> and the service has not registered with a license server with installed licenses.)

This event is logged if the grace period is about to expire and license server is not configured.

    Event ID 1008, source: TermService
This event is logged if "The terminal services licensing grace period has expired and the service has not registered with a license server."

Subhashm is correct. Note you have 120 days to activate the server and then another 90 days for your temporary licenses being issued to expire. So in total you technically have up to 210 days before you will need any license (again, from a technical standpoint).
