uninstalling IE 8 from server 2008

I have a program that does not work with IE8
I tried to uninstall it from server 2008 in the control panel and default programs but it is not there
I need to install IE6
any suggestions

not sure if it's the full version or just the service pack.
Not even sure it will install on 2008

Have you followed the instructions to remove IE8?

IE6 I believe is not a support Internet Explorer on Windows 2008 server. The starting supported IE is IE 7.

Thanks darius I couldn't find anything to confirm that but was fairly sure it wasn't supported.
