Needs access to IDE HDD

Hi EE.

I have an old computer where the PSU are defective.
I haved tried to insert a new PSU, but i dont get picture on the screen! I think the GFX or mobo are destroyed.

Okay i just dismounted the HDD from the computer and insterted into a IDE > USB converter. When i connect it to my laptop i am prompted to format this HDD before i can access it! ( I have tried to jump it as Master and slave)

XP Was running on this HDD.

I have tried to connect it to an XP machine, but i need to intialiaze the disk!

The main problem is : I need the files from this disk! Is it possible ?

    I mounted the HDD in a compter with IDE interface! Then i could connect to the disk.
