Error While Processing an Application in SAP BPC with SQL 2008 on backend.

Error message:: No accessible overloaded 'LogHandler.WriteLog' can be called without a narrowing conversion.

    Accepted Solution

    You need to keep appset names short or you will get this error. The appset names should only be up to about 15 characters. Once we deleted the appset and databases with the long name and rebooted the server, the errors went away for us. I would recommend making your appset name shorter.
    Actually this error is fixed in the nearest service packs... You may install the latest service pack too..
