Hi Experts,

In 2010, I have public folder replicas from my exchange 2007 server.

However how to I make those replicas the ones Outlook see, so I can remove my 2007 server for the organisation.

    Accepted Solution

Outlook should look at the server that holds the mailboxes, it will only look to another server if
    a. The server doesn't have the public folder that it wants.
    b. The default public folder store on the Mailbox Store isn't set to the local database.

Therefore, as long as replication has taken place, the Exchange 2007 server can be removed.

Where are you seeing the Outlook clients connecting to the "wrong" server?
