BEWS 12.5 remote agent installs questions

We are installing a new BEWS 12.5 backup server to replace an old BEWS 10d server. I have several questions regarding the Remote agent installs. 1) Can the 12.5 remote agent be pushed directly to a server which already has a 10d agent? Does the 10d agent have to be uninstalled first? 2) After pushing the 12.5 agent, will the remote server need to be rebooted? 3) I also want to push the 12.5 AOFO agents. Will the remote server need rebooting after the push? Where can I check on the remote server to see that the AOFO agent has been installed? I pushed it to a test server but can't seem to determine that it has been installed.

Thanks for the help

1) Can the 12.5 remote agent be pushed directly to a server which already has a 10d agent?
And : Yes, it will upgrade the agent to 12.5

2)Does the 10d agent have to be uninstalled first?
And : Not required.

3) After pushing the 12.5 agent, will the remote server need to be rebooted?
Ans : If AOFO installed, reboot is required.

3) I also want to push the 12.5 AOFO agents. Will the remote server need rebooting after the push?
Ans : yes, reboot is required.

4)Where can I check on the remote server to see that the AOFO agent has been installed?

Ans : To check for the presence of the Advanced Open File Option (AOFO) on a remote machine:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Browse to %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers (%systemroot% is typically C:\winnt or C:\windows)
3. Look for VSP.SYS. This is the driver responsible for AOFO operations.
If no VSP.SYS driver is found, then the AOFO option is not installed.
