PTR record entry

I have owned the IP pool from APNIC and done the eBGP on firewalll with two different ISPs. Now i have to add the PTR record (resever domain entry) but not able to find the right answer for this that where i have to add this record on ISP DNS server or on hosting server where i have registered the domain or I have to host my own name server.
I have asked ISP and hosting server administrator they suggest me to host my own name servers.
Please help...

the PTR record points the IP back to a domain name.  Whoever hosts the A record for the domain name, can host the PTR record.  So, I'd have it set up at whoever hosts your Doman name that you're pointing back to for that IP.

Thanks for quick response. All A records and MX records are added on hosting server where my company website is hosted. I already asked them to add PTR record onto their name servers but they suggested me to add these record on ISP end and ISP suggested to host your own name server because these are my IPs and they are only broadcasting it.

I take that back --

Your ISP owns the IP block -- they should manage the PTR record.  Push back and have them set it up.

So, your hosting provider can, but in my opinion, it makes more sense for your ISP to manage the reverse zone.
