Portions of webpage showing page cannot be displayed

I have attached a screen shot of ticketmaster.com.... portions of this page (and only this page) are showing up as page cannot be displayed.  IE 8 is in compatibility mode with the security set to medium.  I also added ticketmaster and the link in the error below to the trusted sites.

When I right click on the page cannot be displayed area I get the following URL:

res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#http://ads.as4x.tmcs.ticketmaster.com/html.ng/Params.richmedia=yes&Params.lifetime=15&site=tm&pagepos=504&adsize=300x100&page=home&dmaid=345&bgcolor=ffffff&cceclassid=0&lang=en-us

Windows firewall and Norton were turned off in the testing of this... still no luck.

Any ideas what to do?

Check wour Hosts file for this ads.as4x.tmcs.net
You can do this by clicking Start then run then enter this line:
notepad C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc\hosts
If there is a line that has ads.as4x.tmcs.net, delete it then close notepad and save changes.

It works fine on other computers.... go to ticketmaster.com right now, and the same areas are not showing.... BUT they're showing on other computers that I have, AND probably showing on yours.

You said " IE 8 is in compatibility mode ". Do you run it that way normally or are you doing it to troubleshoot this problem. I ask because i don't use that and the page appears as it should.

the page appears the same way ( as in the image attached to this thread) in both compatibility mode and not in compatibility mode.

I just checked the host files again.... I was in the wrong one.  deleted the line, and it's resolved.  Thanks!
