Fonts on label printer from Citrix are bigger that fonts printed from the PC

I can print a label from a in house developed application. The label was designed to fit a 3x2 label and it's printed from a Zebra TLP 2844 printer. When printed from a PC containing the application it prints ok, but when printed from a Citrix client the fonts look bigger. Initially the printer was failing to autocreate so I am assuming it was using the universal printer driver to print. I installed the exact same drivers that the PC has to see if this was the problem ( I read an article the described a similar issue and it had to do with the UPD) after installing the drivers, the printer does not show on the event viewer anymore as failing to autocreate but the fonts being printed are still bigger that the ones I get when printing from the PC. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? any work arounds or fixes?  Thanks in advance

Yes Zebra printers inside citrix are a real pain. Heres a few steps to try. Try the Zebra universal printer driver on your citrix servers.
If that doesnt work then use the Seagull drivers for you printer. Seagull develop drivers for barcode printers that work inside citrix environments. One of these solutions should fix your issue as i have a Zebra 2844 on my desk as im typing this reponse that im using to test a new clinical app, the printers working with Zebra universal printer driver locally attached to my PC and autocreated inside the citrix session.
Pleas let me know if the suggestions do not fix your issue.
Kind Regards

I have tested this with a Zebra LP 2824 as I did not have the same printer I was having issues with on hand. I will test it with the TLP 2844 network printer using these drivers and see if it makes a difference. I only installed the Seagull drivers not the barcode application so hopefully this is OK.
Thanks for your reply and I will keep you posted.

Abandoned this issue after realizing limited success.  A better solution is required, rather than resolution to keep this solution pairing in place.  Thank you.
