SQL Full Text Search SBS 2008 SQL Server 2008

I just learned the hard way that you cannot install SQL Server 2008 on an SBS 2008 server the same way you do on a full blown W2008 server. I did wind up getting it to install by installling one component at a time and also installing the Management tools for SQL Server 2008 Express Edition. My question here is regarding Full Text Search. SQL is being installed simply for the accounting program. The accounting program does not need Full Text Search. Exactly what does Full Text search do and since the accounting program will not make use of it should I simply not install it?

Full-text queries perform linguistic searches against text data in full-text indexes by operating on words and phrases based on rules of a particular language such as English or Japanese. Full-text queries can include simple words and phrases or multiple forms of a word or phrase.

Because the accounting systems nature are numeric you may not need to take advantage of this component. SQL Server can make the normal searches on text.
