Can't load web pages in IE java script errors

Hi Guys,

I am trying to load a intranet link that is java loaded on it works on the majority of pcs I have here except mine and the client and it is really bugging me as I can't fix the fault.
And I don't want to re-build the clients computer as it will take too long.
I have gone through re-moving java re-adding it, removing ie re-adding it.
changed different JRE through the Java control panel.

Can some one point me in the right direction even if it is blindingly obvious

I am running windows xp, ms office 2003 and IE8 clients have the same appart from they are on IE7

This is what I get in the java console window.

Java console shows this..
load: class com.skillsoft.legacy.player.PagePlayer.class not found.

Try repairing Corrupt Windows System Files with the System File Checker. Windows + R key will bring up the Run Dialig Box. Enter sfc /scannow in it and hit Ok. You will need your Windows CD in Hand, just in case the utility asks for it. If it does find corrupt system files & replaces them, the try uninstall - reinstall Java & see if the  prooblem is resolved.

Did you go to http://java.com/en/ and Click "Do I have Java?" to see if your JVM is actually working?

Java and Javascript are 2 entirely different things, though the name is common. You need to enable javascript on the client's machine.

See the above links.

Try adding the intranet site to "Trusted Sites" if still no joy.

Hi,

Thanks for those links.. I had a look but no joy.
Is there a application say a comparison tool I can run on two computers to see what the differences are to see if I can fix this fault?

Thanks

Try installing Adobe Flash Player by going to http://www.adobe.com/

Sorry there are too many configurations to compare, even if two PCs are indentical, so I don't think it will be possible by comparison.

It could be that a leftover of Microsoft JVM is interfering with your current installaion of Java. See the below link to complete remove Microsoft JVM.
