Lotus Notes - Send and File - Auto Collapse Folders

Dear Experts,

We're running LN client 6.5.5, some of our users have a large number of folders created in their mailbox. When they 'Send and File' an email, they would like the folder list to be collapsed. Is there a way to toggle this?

I've looked at the page file for the mailpicker and set the Outline for the Root Entry to 'Collapse All', but it doesn't seem to work when using the 'Send and File' action.

I suppose so, using LotusScript and the PushKeys library. The idea would be to set the focus to the right frame, and then send the key-code to collaps all folders. Very tricky stuff though, wouldn't want to burn my fingers on it. But if you're in for an experiment...

    Hi sjef,

Yeah, I didn't think this was gonna be an easy one, but I was hoping there was a trick or an option I was missing.

The only trick up my sleeve is to emit some keystrokes to Notes. Done it before, it works, but it sure ain't pretty...

    Here you go:

I think, in Pre-R8, I'd try sending one or more F6-keys to switch to the right frame, and then send the keystroke to collapse all folders, it might be the Shift-Num-Minus.

I think I'm going to tell them it can't be done at this time. Since I don't really have the time to dive into the deep end of the pool on this request.

Maybe in my free time I'll play with the sendkeys.

    Thanks again,
