editing default dnn template

how can i modify the default template???   i want to add my own logo on the top and i dont know how to get rid of the dnn logo on the header

or you can play with these files

DNN\website\admin\Skins\logo.ascx
DNN\website\admin\Skins\Logo.ascx.vb

for example to add a frame or split it into two images etc...

There is an ability to do this without need to access the core web folder.

why don't you login as Host or Admin and go to Admin > Site Setting
Expand the "Appearance", there is LOGO there.
Just Upload your Logo, when you had done, just select it from the list. and click Update
