Problems emerging net-nds/openldap-2.4.19-r1 on gentoo

Here is the output that I get when I try it

I get the following error when I try to reemerge

checking for Berkeley DB major version in db.h... 4
checking for Berkeley DB minor version in db.h... 3
checking if Berkeley DB version supported by BDB/HDB backends... no
configure: error: BerkeleyDB version incompatible with BDB/HDB backends

!!! Please attach the following file when seeking support:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/net-nds/openldap-2.4.19-r1/work/openldap-2.4.19/config.log

And can you attach the named config.log??

Do you have the epm package installed, it's an rpm like query tool for installed packages..
(if you don have it yet, you can install it using 'emerge epm')

what does
  epm -q db
give?

This would be the expected answer...
db-4.7.25_p4

Is your previous version of openldap also 2.4.19-r1 or older.
(in the last case you need to run a few commands to save the old ldap database to
an ldif using slapcat. (+ removing one field form the ldif).

I ended up just installing it without ldap support
