ScandAll 21 Fujitsu scanner software does not work consistenly with windows 7

An error message occurs more than half the time when attempting to scan files using the scanall software bundled with Fujitsu scanners on a new windows 7 machine.  Is there a fix or do you have a suggestion for a product that not only scans but converts to PDF compatible with windows 7?

I presume you've tried the updated version of ScandAll at the Fujitsu site...

I threw on Adobe standard and called it a day

There is a known bug in  Adobe products when converting files to *.pdf (especially on x64 machines)
