Exchange 2010 Activesync

Hi there,

Just transitioned from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010. Both servers are still up and right now most of the mailboxes are on 2002. For some reason when I migrate a user and then try to use activesync from my ipod-touch with that user it verifies the account and adds it to my account list but i cannot send or receive mail. If i create a new user from the exchange 2010 console i can set up activesync with no problem. Any ideas?

When you say you have transitioned and still have both servers, have you moved your mailboxes to the 2010 server yet?
When you create a new user, are you creating the user on the 2010 server and putting them in a mailstore on the 2010 server?
If you have a mailbox that is not syncing and the mailbox is in a mailstore on the 2003 server, can you please move them to the 2010 server and then test Activesync for them please.

What I was having a problem with was uses who were moved over to the new server. After much searching found the root of the problem, a permissions issue. Very easily fixable.

I hope this link saves a lot of people a lot of trouble.

I was about to get onto that (having just done exactly the same thing and had the same problems with my 2003 to 2010 migration).
Well done.

Any idea about enoturage 2004 if it will work with exchange 2010?
