HP 4050 showing error
0079 OOFE is the error code that I have been seeing on my HP printer. i t does not let me do anything else. I can not print . Pressing buttons don;t make anysense, I mean the message from the printer screen soes not go away.

But that does nto tell me much about it.
Should i call HP or theree is something that I can do by myself?

Well thank you very much it was all comprehensively helpful information. By the way I tried trouble shooting the way it is stated in the snapshot posted by MasQUDAR, but still error was not moving. So I have called HP to take a look on that. Let's see what happens.
