php.ini change timeout time

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
C:\SWsoft\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP5\php-cgi.exe - The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout

page keeps timing out
need more time

is this a php.ini error

Yes, this sounds like a php.ini issue:

Change:

max_execution_time = 90

Then the following changes to fcgiext.ini:

RequestTimeout=90
ActivityTimeout=60

in the php.ini file.

how could i find fcgiexe.ini

my os doesnt have 'search'

is this info in php.ini

It might be...try and find those fields in the php.ini file. The fcgiext.ini file should be on your system somewhere though. What OS?

Windows should have a search feature built into it. Just do a search for the fcgiext.ini file.

Anyway, look under the c:\php directory for it.
