Can win 2000 pro be used in a 2008 ad ?

    Yes, but you need to make sure you have the latest service pack for the Win 2000 Pro cleint.

    Ok, further down in the same board, they state the only issue is with Group Policy, some of the new options won't work as they do not have extensions for win2K, only for XP/2003.
