how to redirect to home page if user is idle for some time

hi experts I am developing a web application in which an user signs up for a new account. If opens the registration page and idle for some time. In this case if the user is idle for 60 sec then I should redirect the page to home page. how should I approach it. Any code help is appreciable.

It also depends on what you define as idle. I beleive sybe's example will refresh after 60 seconds even if the user is actively filling in the form.

You need to use javascript and set-up a timer to do a redirect if it fires. Any time something happens that you classify as activity you reset the timer.

now how can I find the user's idle time. There is no mouse move or keyboard key pressed. so that I can redirect to home page.
