    Accepted Solution

If you are using an exchange server at work you could just grant your brother permissions and he can grant you permissions as well. Then you can just see his up to date calendar all the time.

If you are not on exchange then I am assuming that you are using the email calender function which is just a snapshot of the calendar not including anything new...unless he emails it to you everyday.

You have the option to publish your calendar in office online and grant your brother permission or vice versa. This way you would have to log into office online to view his calendar and vice versa.

The only other way I know to make this work without exchange server and the solution directly above would be some kind of outlook script which would automate the calendar emailing. I am not sure how to do that.

Other than that the script in the link is a .vbs that can pull meetings and appointments and directly email to the receipiant that you just have to change the email address to your brother and have him also modify it on his computer for yours. Basically you would both get a copy of the .vbs file, open it with notepad go to file, open. The navigate to where you saved the meetings.vbs - with the file box open change to all files and you will see the .vbs...once opened in notpad change the address in the code.

You and your brother would then have to make the .vbs script run using windows task schedular. You could have it run through task schedular at a specified time. The only thing with this script is that it doesn't show in calendar format it is just an email that extracts from the calendar and tasks.
