If I add a domain like Microsoft.com to the IronPort white list will it verify the email came from the microsoft domain or would I just give spammers a big hole to spam us?

It depends on the overall spam solution. Some spam solutions will check the reverse IP lookup to see if the sender is legitimate. In this case, allowing microsoft.com will not likely cause an issue. If the spam solution just checks the senders address only, then you could have some issues.

A simple way forward would be to allow it on a test basis and see what happens. You can always disallow it if you have problems. ... Thinkpads_User
