There has to be a way to upgrade w7 from the upgraded DV D but I keep getting the 0xC004F061 error.  Can someone suggest a solution to activate.  I'm using the 3 license upgrade pack. Yes, I did do a clean install into a new partition on a system that also has Vista.  I want to keep both systems for a whle.

To install Windows 7 using the upgrade DVD, you will have to actually upgrade the OS.  So on the new partition, you would need to install your current OS on it and then upgrade it to Vista.  It is recommended to do the upgrade from within your current OS rather than booting from the Windows 7 DVD, but if you do the install from booting to the Windows 7 DVD, you have to select a partition that currently has a qualifying OS on it.
