Can I send a fax to someone if I don't have modem?

I don't have a modem connected to my PC but a client wants me to fax documents to them.  What are some of the ways (hopefully cheap or free) that I can do this.

The documents are word and powerpoint files or scanned images and are already on my "C" drive.  These are what I need to send.
