Fetch .csv files from FTP account using PHP

Hi all,

i'm learning PHP and i'm looking for some code examples/tutorials that will fetch/download some csv files which i have in a FTP account automatically so that i may then import into my DB from those .csv file.

can anyonme point me in the right direction?

    excellent, very hepful to me because there is a full example that i can copy. thank you.

    i have two other questions about this - making it automatic and also checking to see IF file date/time is newer then download IF files are the same date/time then do not down load.

    but i will ask these in another question.
