VSS Error 8193 - Windows 7, The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Hi

I have been having trouble getting the windows 7 backup utility to work.  At first I had an error and had to reimport the wbengine reg key.

Now I am  geting  the following errors.

I cannot see VSS in the services list.  I am also using hardware RAID if that makes a difference.  Any help appreciated.

Hi Thanks, you were right but in the end as I had other missing services as well I repaired windows as a whole.  Thank you
