Outlook 2010 Beta2 amend subject of email in inbox

In OL2003/2007, I could modify the subject of an email in my Inbox to better reflect content of that email etc. for example, if I recd an email from mcrosoft with subject 'your problem' , I would amend this to say 'Microsoft/OL2010/Inbox subject problem'

Problem: in OL2010 (connected to Exchange 2003), I can amend the subject but the Inbox view does not show the change, only the original subject.

Any suggestions?

As the product is still in BETA it's probably a bug that hasn't been made aware of yet.

Click the send a frown option in the systray and tell them what's happening.

    To answer my own question:

OL2010 has a new feature to view Inbox (& other mail folders) by grouping for 'conversations' ie. group emails with same subject.

The problem for me is that if conversation view is enabled, OL appers to index the original email & shows this at the top of conversations. Althought later I can change email subject, the conversation title remains same.

Switching off conversation view, reverts OL back to the way it worked before.
