EE:
SBS2003 SP2 running Exchange mail (5 users) - a small size network with budget concern!

this box been having health issue., the very important one which raise concerned and please see message below...
From a scan result using BPA displayed this error message:

**** The server is in a journal wrap condition. For more information, see the Knowledge Base article "Troubleshooting journal_wrap errors on Sysvol and DFS replica sets"
----

This box been running over 2 years since Aug-07 - the previous IT employee left the company over 5 months... there was issue and problems since... - long story short...

Before taking action to replace this box with another new box - I like to find out if there's a way to go around and attempt to fix the issue without having to spend money from client end. (a friend of family member!)

There is "ZERO" result from EE site when searched for the subject/issue (bad sign/news!)
I have no experience in this issue and also want to keep my shoes clean when I walked out...
----

Need immediate help & much appreciated your instruction/direction from EE.

This is a somewhat common error with SBS. It can be resolved using a registry change. See the "Resolution" section of the following link:

You should also make a full backup of your server and system state as soon as possible.
The process BrianKronberg outlined is a little different than the one I suggested. Using Burflags can be a little safer, but "Journal Wrap Automatic Restore" is the more common method.

>"I've changed value from "0" to "1" - my question is, should I change it back to "0" and when should I make that change?"
Yes you should change it back to "0" once the repairs have been made.

where's the log file for the for sysvol viewer?
I didn't see PBA scanned result for the same issue - wasn't sure if it has already taken care or go away - how do I find out?

I didn't pick the "other" report of the scanned result under PBA
Sorry but it still there - the error message (Journay Warp Condiiton)
My instructor told me to ignored - because it's the only BOX in this office running ONLY Exchange email and there has not any DFS functioning for a single Server...

There are blogs stating after the error has been repaired, the previous event (journal wrap) will still show up in the BPA report. Is it dated by any chance. There are ways to remove/refresh this but I am not familiar with them.
