2 WAN Lins configuration in 1 Cisco router

I hava Cisco router that have a Cellulare interface. I would connect to WAN using the Cellulare interfce and one Ethernet interface. I would like to make the ethernet interface to be the primary line and if it is disconnected I would like the router to use the cellulare interface automatically as a backup line.
How can this configuration done?

hi,

you can do this by adding two static routes one with higher priority and one with lower. There are many other ways to do this but what exactly are you trying to achieve. Just link failover or do you have any other services running (email server, web server, dns server) which must be visible on the internet.

assuning the following

interface Cellulare 0/0/0 and its gateway ip is y.y.y.y

and

interface ethernet1

then do the following route

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 ethernet1
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Cellulare 0/0/0 y.y.y.y metric 200

that's it
