block ability to see other recipients of email

when i send an email to multiple contacts i do not want them all to know who this email went out to. How can i block this ability in Outlook.

show the bcc field in the new email and then put all their addresses in bcc, and your own address in the to field. If you don't know how to open BCC for your particular office version, look up BCC in the help file.

Hi, richardjones1025.

You cannot block the ability to see other recipients if you address them as To or CC.  As D_Hartup suggested you can BCC all the addresses and they will all be invisible to all recipients.  However, the recipients will all know that you sent the message to other recipients since they will not see any addresses at all.
