Deleted Explorer Toolbar - which toolbar was it?

Hi,
I have been giving my fathers computer its annual service.  In the process I deleted a toolbar in Explorer that I thought was spam/rubbish, however he now tells me that he uses it.

However, he unable to tell me enough info that allows me to find out what toolbar it was thus so I can reinstall it.

Is there anyway of tracking down what it was on the computer so I can redownload it?

Thanks

A.

If system restore is enabled, you can take the PC back to a time that the toolbar was installed and then you can complete the service leaving the toolbar alone (as long as you know what it is once it re-appears).
Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Restore.

thanks.  I have tried this, and unfortunately it has not worked.  I ran it and got the following error message from System restore "An unspecified error occured during System Restore"

Any other ideas?

I am fearful of doing it again as the last thing that I want to do is screw up the computer simply because of a toolbar.

Any other thoughts?

thanks

If that does not work and your father cannot remember what it is / does, then it is looking difficult.
Does he remember anything about what it was / what it did / when he used it etc?
