I want to combine my sql server 2000, windows 2003 server, and exchange 2000 on one virtual server.  I need a resource that will explain how I can do that.  I have marginal network skills and experience.  I want to put it on a Windows 2003 server box with 450 GB free space

Not advisable.  Exchange and SQL server are processor and drive I/O intense.

I'd suggest searching Microsoft's Technet for specs for each software's hardware minimum requirements. If you add them all together, and cut that by about 15 to 20%... your server may not have enough processor/memory/HD space to run effectively.

    Just a thought,
