Offsite Back-up Software

We are looking to do our own backup of our servers. We are looking at backing up around 4TB. We want to do an off site backup, but like i said we want to do it ourselves.

We looked at Buffalo Technologies products and found a few boxes we would be interested in, but we are most likely going to need some software to allow us to back up off site.

Does anyone know of any good software that will allow us to back up?

Also suggestions on what hardware/software we should use for the backup and possibly an explanation of how it works would be of great help!

Try logmein backup. You control where the backup data goes. Now with 4TB of data the first backup would take a while, but additional backups would only copy the data that changed between backups. For that large amount of data I would export a local-only backup, then import it to the destination machine. Then other backups will transfer the changed data only. You may want to contact their support for the best practices for that amount of data.
